This is a fantastic recipe that I discovered in my Grandma's recipe guide. Judging from the weathered appearance of this particular healthy recipe card, that was a family favorite.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 ¼ cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Step 1
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking sugar, salt, and powder. Create a nicely in the middle and put in the dairy, egg and melted butter; blend until smooth.
Step 2
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or perhaps frying pan over medium high temperature. Pour or perhaps harvest the batter onto the griddle, using around 1/4 cup for every pancake. Brown on both sides as well as serve warm.
